Inspired by Maya Angelou’s poem, “Phenomenal Woman”—this program honors the incredible contributions of women composers and poets, including Florence Price, Margaret Bonds, Clara Schumann, Lori Laitman, Libby Larsen, B. E. Boykin, Soon Ae Kim, Won Ju Lee, Anna Pidgorna, Jasmine Barnes, and more. Featured artists include Katherine Boyce, Ellie Yeonjung Kim, Shana Oshiro, Erin Ridge, Thea Tullman Moore, cellist Jodi Beder, and pianist Elizabeth Hill.
